FXS100 module

The FXS-100 modules allows card series the A400 / A800 / A1200 to complete the connections of analog phones.

Due to the modular design of the map of the A400 series / A800 / A1200, the user can activate additional analog ports at any time, adding FXO-100 or FXS-100 modules. The FXO-100 module passes all the characteristics of a call that a standard analog telephone line supports.

• FXO - Foreign Exchange Office

An FXS device initiates and sends the current ringer. An FXO device receives the stream sent by the FXS device.

 

The phone receiving the call is the last FXO device in the chain, and when it receives the stream of FXS, the phone rings.

 

Connect the external analog FXO lines on your Asterisk server to receive the stream of external lines.

Connect analog phones on FXS ports on your Asterisk server. When the FXO module in your Asterisk server receive the current, it generates a current using the FXS modules to send it to your analog phone.
